I was at a fiends apartment in the Upper East Side trying to fix my computer or extract some data. We took a break to grab some cold beer from a deli down the street, as soon as we stepped out of the door I noticed the strange lighting. I decided to run back upstairs to grab my camera not realizing just how amazing the sky actually looked.

Not only was the warm color strong enough to overpower the the normal sunlight. The clouds formed strange cotton ball patterns and doubled just how cool that sunset was. Ordinary people on the street that would normally be in too much of a rush to appreciate their surroundings stopped and looked up at the sky and were in awe of one of natures best shows this year.
