So I worked on a team that installed a new fire alarm system in the New York Stock Exchange in 2005-2006. We had to basically find every device in there and replace it. They used to be a non profit organization believe it or not prior to 2006. So every year they would scramble to spend excess money on things like renovations.
The end results were all these crazy hidden passages behind walls in there. To get to where I took this shot you climbed into a utility closet, then went through a hidden door, walked down a passage way, climbed a ladder, walked behind the walls some more and climbed another ladder. Pretty weird being back there. Not sure what type of connectors these are, possibly went to broadcasting old stock tickers or something before things went digital, who knows.
