Still speeding down the sidewalk, ready to sit down and eat a couple blocks away from the restaurant my friends chose for our Ramadan feast. One of the best parts of where I live is the diverse communities I’m surrounded by. I’m the type of person who loves exotic foods and enjoys different cultures. So many areas of the world are represented here in this part of Queens. Within walking distance I’ve got an East Indian community, Thai, Irish, Greek, Indonesian, Colombian, Peruvian, Filipino, and several other small neighborhoods to chose from, each with it’s own restaurants and shops. Pretty diverse even for New York City.
